As the founder of Giano Jewellers, I’m more than just a business owner – I’m a creator, a dreamer, and a passionate jeweller. My introduction to the world of fine jewellery wasn’t a conventional one, but turned out to be a serendipitous journey that perfectly complemented my creative nature.

When I’m not immersed in the world of gems and precious metals, you’ll find me exploring nature, and drawing inspiration from the organic forms and colours that often influence my designs. I’m an avid traveller, constantly inspired by the diverse cultures and unique artistic expressions I discover around the world. These experiences often find their way into my creations, adding layers of meaning and global influence to each piece.

I’m also an avid reader and I love getting lost in stories that spark my imagination and fuel my creativity. These quiet moments of reflection often lead to some of my most innovative design ideas. I cherish moments spent with loved ones, including my husband and our furry companions, but I also find great inspiration and rejuvenation in moments of solitude. It’s in these quiet times that I often connect most deeply with my artistic vision.

The idea for Giano came to me unexpectedly, blossoming from a spark of curiosity into a full-fledged passion. The name itself holds a special place in my heart, reminiscent of my family name, Gagiano.

It embodies not just my personal journey, but the essence of what Giano Jewellers represents – a blend of tradition, emotion, and creative expression. This name connects me to my roots while allowing me to branch out and create something uniquely mine.

As a jeweller, I find immense joy in creating pieces that become part of people’s most cherished moments. Whether it’s an engagement ring that symbolises a lifelong commitment, or a bespoke piece that captures a personal milestone, I’m honoured to play a role in these significant life events. Giano Jewellers was born from a fascination with the art of jewellery manufacturing.

Our story began in 2019 when life took an unexpected turn, offering me the time and opportunity to explore a newfound interest in silversmithing. What started as a curious exploration during the challenges of 2020 quickly evolved into a passionate pursuit.

With no formal training, but an insatiable appetite for knowledge, I delved into the intricate world of gemstones, faceting and setting styles, and precious metal properties. As my skills grew, so did my vision. This led to me earning my jeweller’s permit, allowing me to work with gold and other precious metals – and I began goldsmithing.

I found myself drawn to slightly unconventional designs – pieces that carried a personal touch and stood apart from the ordinary.

In 2020, Giano Jewellers officially launched, driven by a growing appreciation for bespoke jewellery that reflects individual stories. As demand grew, I expanded my team, bringing on board talented private jewellers who share my commitment to craftsmanship and creativity.

While I still find joy in personally crafting select pieces, our trusted team of experienced jewellers now brings most of our magical creations to life.
