For designs requiring unique gems or specialised cuts, or those involving a more complex design process, additional time may be needed. We’ll provide a personalised timeline during our initial consultation to ensure your expectations are met.

What is CAD Design, and how is it used in creating custom jewellery?

CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is a powerful tool we use to bring your jewellery concepts to life with precision and accuracy. With CAD, we create detailed 3D models of your design before production, giving you a clear visual of the final piece from all angles. This technology allows for greater customisation, ensuring every aspect of the design meets your expectations.

CAD combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, giving us the flexibility to fine-tune even the smallest details. It’s ideal for intricate bespoke designs, ensuring that every element, from stone settings to complex patterns, is rendered with precision. This allows us to share digital mockups with you for approval before production begins.

While not necessary for all custom orders, CAD design is an optional service we offer during the custom design process. It’s particularly beneficial for clients who want to visualise their piece in detail before manufacturing, ensuring the end result perfectly matches their vision.

Please note that opting for a CAD design will incur additional fees and extend the overall lead time by approximately two weeks. We’ll discuss these details with you during our consultation to help you decide if this option is right for your project.
